AN UNDERSTATED DOMINANCE (DUSTIN RHYS) Chapter 2451 To 2460

AN UNDERSTATED DOMINANCE (DUSTIN RHYS)

Chapter 2451

The saber hit the ground before its owner even appeared. Its edge gleamed with a fierce, intimidating light.

"This saber looks so familiar. I think I've seen it before." "If I'm not mistaken, that's the Inferno Saber of the Bloodfire Legion leader." "The leader of the Bloodfire Legion? Even someone like him is competing in the tournament? Isn't he too old for this?" "From what I know, the Bloodfire Legion leader has passed the Inferno Saber to his most prized disciple, Kendricks Lang, who is ranked eighth on the Legendary List." Amid the murmurs, a dark figure suddenly shot into the air. He landed on the battle ring just as the golden saber crashed down with a thunderous boom.

The figure was a man dressed in black with a cold and formidable presence. He appeared to be in his 30s, tall and upright, with a piercing gaze. A black, broken sword was slung across his back, which added to his unapproachable demeanor.

He was Kendricks Lang, ranked eighth on the Legendary List. Though many had never seen him in person, he was widely recognized. His extraordinary skills and blade mastery had earned him a stellar reputation, and he had remained undefeated since his rise to fame.

"Such bad luck. I can't believe I have to face this guy," Azalea murmured as she looked at her numbered ball. With a resigned sigh, she rose from her seat and walked toward the battle ring.

Despite the treasures Abigail had given her, Azalea still felt uncertain. While those items might be effective against ordinary grand masters, their usefulness against great legends like Kendricks was questionable.

Follow on Since he was her opponent, she wouldn't give up easily. She was determined to perform at her best. Her goals were to avoid disappointing Abigail and to uphold the honor of the Mystic Arts Order.

"A woman?" Kendricks frowned as he looked at Azalea approaching the battle ring. "How disappointing." He had anticipated facing a formidable opponent from the Legendary List, not an unknown woman. To him, defeating her didn't seem like an achievement worth boasting about.

"I'm Azalea Larson of the Mystic Arts Order," Azalea introduced as she stepped onto the ring. With a gentle smile and a polite nod, her elegance was hard to ignore.

The male spectators in the stand perked up, and their hearts raced at her presence.

All the female contestants in the tournament were captivating in their own right, but Azalea was particularly striking. There was something almost ethereal about her, a charm that drew everyone in and was impossible to resist.

"I don't want to fight a woman. Just surrender," Kendricks said flatly. His gaze was cold and unwavering.

To him, women were insignificant compared to his saber. He would rather spend his tper fecting his sword technique than engaging in idle flirtations.

"I didn't expect you to be such a gentleman. But since I'm already here, I can't just surrender. My mentor would never letlive it down. Please go easy on me." Azalea cast him a delicate, almost pitiful look. She was trying to tug at his sympathy.

"Drop the pretense," he said with a blank expression. "If you're determined to fight, don't expectto hold back." While he wasn't eager to fight a woman, showing mercy simply wasn't in his nature.

"Ah... I must have misunderstood. If you're set on fighting me, I'll just have to endure it." She shook her head, and her downcast eyes made her look helpless.

Kendricks remained indifferent, but the male spectators were spellbound. Their hearts softened at Azalea's seemingly vulnerable demeanor.

They would have surrendered without hesitation if they were in Kendricks' shoes. Who could bring themselves to harm such a fragile beauty? After all, letting her win would be the perfect way to gain a gentlemanly reputation. "The fifth match starts now," Oron announced once both contestants were ready.

"Shall we begin?” Azalea asked politely. Her calm demeanor didn't signal she was hurrying to strike first. She appeared composed and harmless.

"Alright then, I won't hold back." Kendricks didn't hesitate. With a swift motion, he reached out, and the golden saber embedded in the ring flew back into his hand.

Follow on He stepped forward with his weapon in hand. The saber's sharp edge scraped along the battle ring as he moved. It left a long trail and scattered sparks in its wake.

Though he hadn't yet swung the blade, the sheer force of his presence was enough to make everyone feel a chill of apprehension.

"Blossom Storm!" Azalea raised both hands and waved toward Kendricks.

A storm of hidden weapons erupted from her sleeves. It filled the air with a relentless barrage of hundreds of projectiles.

Kendricks was a master swordsman, so she knew better than to engage him in close-quarter combat. She planned to use the thrown weapons and poison darts to wear him down, pulling back after each strike, and then find a chance to deliver a decisive blow.

"Hmph! Pathetic tricks." Kendricks scoffed as the projectiles camem O camem rushing at him.

With a swift flick of his golden saber, he conjured a massive wave of golden energy.

The wave shot up and quickly rose to over 30 feet high. It crashed forward like a tidal wave the oppressive force swallowed the swarm of projectiles and left no trace behind. X The unstoppable wave plowed through everything in its path and barreled toward Azalea with terrifying power. RULE #1 choose married women They have reason to keep things secret, as do you.

Chapter 2452

The lack of strict rules at Sacred Wrym Summit allowed Abigail to set up betting pools.

Caleb couldn't resist the urge to play a few rounds out of curiosity. He initially had sluck and racked up a decent win. But the tide turned, and he lost everything he had won.

With the excitement and adrenaline pumping, he had nothing else to wager, so he bet with the Divine Talisman. From that moment on, it spiraled out of control.

It wasn't until he lost dozens of talismans that he finally realized he was over his head and decided to give up. Hence, the talismans in Azalea's possession were a result of his reckless gambling.

"Where did you get a Divine Talisman? "Kendricks frowned as his expression darkened.

The Divine Talisman was a hallmark of Sacred Wyrm Summit, and the lightning talisman she had used earlier was particularly rare. Kendricks found it absurd that a disciple from the Mystic Arts Order would possess the talismans.

"Heh... it's a secret." Azalea grinned.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

Before the match, Abigail had given her three Divine Talismans. Azalea had already used one with impressive results. If she played her cards right with the other two, there might still be a glimmer of hope to win the match.

"Hmph! Do you think you can de featwith the Divine Talisman? Dream on." Kendricks tossed his golden saber to the ground, where it sank deep into the battle ring and left the hilt sticking up. He then slowly unsheathed a black blade from his back.

It was a broken sword, entirely black and seemingly unremarkable. Yet the moment he unsheathed it, his entire demeanor changed tically. He exuded a chilling intensity, fierce and filled with commanding power.

The golden light that had surrounded him vanished. Then, a swirling black mist appeared, and he looked like a demon who emerged from the underworld.

"Holy crap! Kendricks is going all out." "That blade he's holding looks strange. It feels like it's been corrupted by dark energy." "If I'm not mistaken, that must be the legendary Demonblade, which was once the top of the ten famous swords in the world. It was broken by a mysterious elder and sealed away. I can't believe it ended up in Kendricks' hands. It still possesses world- shattering power even if it was broken." "With the Demonblade and the Bloodfiery Rampage technique, he's like supercharging a beast. That Mystic Arts Order disciple doesn't stand a chance." The spectators couldn't help but feel a chill as they watched Kendricks enveloped in dark energy.

It was rare to find the Demonblade, but wielding it was even more difficult. Most swordsmen couldn't even draw the blade. Even if they managed to do so, the demonic energy within could easily drive them to madness.

But Kendricks seemed unfazed, which showed he had completely mastered the Demon blade and becits new master.

"You've forced to draw the Demon blade. Consider it an honor to die by its edge." As the words left his lips, he unsheathed his blade.

With a single, fluid motion, he swung the Demon blade in a simple and unembellished slash. But the moment the blade moved, a dark blade aura erupted from its edge.

At that instant, the world seemed to plunge into darkness. The inky blackness seemed ready to conseverything in its path. Wherever it swept through, the ground withered, and the air felt thick and heavy. Though silent, it was filled with lethal intent.

"Abyssal Parasol!" Azalea acted without hesitation and quickly activated the seal.

The once-dim parasol soared into the air and radiated a fierce crimson light. It formed a towering wall between her and the incoming dark blade aura.

The dark blade aura pierced through the towering wall and shattered the Abyssal Parasol. The defensive divine artifact exploded and proved ineffective against Kendricks' attack.

Panicking, Azalea retreated while frantically unleashing a barrage of hidden weapons. But no matter how she attacked or defended, her poison darts disintegrated when they touched the dark blade aura.

Seeing no way to evade or block the attack, she shouted desperately, "I concede! I give up!" As soon as she said that, a bolt of blue lightning struck down from the sky and hit the dark blade aura. The explosion echoed as the lightning shattered it.

As the black energy dissipated, Oron stood protectively before Azalea in the battle ring.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

"You!" Kendricks's anger surged at the sight. He was just moments om away from decapitating her to ease his frustration. To his dismay, Oron's quick intervention had neutralized his attack. "Contestant number 12 has already conceded. There's no need for unnecessary killing," Oron said calmly.

The tournament rules were straightforward. Contestants had to fight to the death, get knocked out of the ring, or surrender voluntarily.

Since Azalea had already surrendered, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Additionally, he was motivated by the fact that she possessed a Divine Talisman, which might be connected to one of the disciples of Sacred Wyrm Summit. This was why he acted immediately to protect her. "Thank you, Master Oron, for your timely rescue," she said. She was still shaken from the terrifying blow she had narrowly avoided.

If Oron hadn't used Stormcraft to deflect the dark blade aura, she wouldn't have been able to withstand such power.

Azalea realized that the gap between her and the masters on the Legendary List was om too great.

They couldn't make up for that difference, even with all her divine artifacts. Fortunately, she had the wit to concede in time. Otherwise, today could have been her last.

AN UNDERSTATED DOMINANCE (DUSTIN RHYS)

Chapter 2454

"Hmph! You got lucky this time." Kendricks glared at Azalea, then sheathed his Demonblade and left the battle ring.

Even though he won, there was no thrill in it. He didn't feel proud about winning against a vulnerable woman when she had managed to injure him.

Since his rise to fame, he had never felt so embarrassed. The Divine Talismans had played a part, but he couldn't deny being outmatched and humiliated.

The missed chance to retaliate only deepened his frustration. Kendricks vowed he wouldn't show the Mystic Arts Order disciples mercy if he faced them again.

"Contestant number five is the winner in this match," Oron announced.

The spectators reacted with warm applause.

Azalea's stunning performance and Kendricks's formidable strength were worthy of praise. Most previous matches had been brutal, where a single misstep could cost a contestant their life.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

It was rare to see someone as wise as her, who knew when she was outmatched and chose to surrender immediately. Her quick thinking had saved her life.

"Grand Sorceress, I'm sorry for disappointing you by not winning the match." After returning to her seat, Azalea acknowledged her mistake.

"What's important is that you're safe. Winning or losing doesn't matter," Abigail replied with a smile.

She continued, "Kendricks is ranked eighth on the Legendary List, so it's natural that you couldn't defeat him.

"I was actually worried you might impulsively push through to the end, which would have been unwise. Besides, you performed admirably and injured him, so it's not a total loss." To her, Azalea's safety was more important than winning. While she hoped Azalea would make it to the top eight, it wouldn't have been a huge concern if she hadn't. After all, winning and losing were simply parts of the competition and couldn't be forced.

"The sixth match is about to begin. Please welccontestant number six and contestant number 11 to the battle ring." Oron's voice echoed.

"Finally, it's my turn!" Suddenly, a burst of laughter filled the venue, and a figure in green flashed into the air. After hovering for a second, the figure vanished and reappeared in the center of the battle ring.

Everyone gasped in astonishment at such a bizarre display of movement.

"What the hell was that? Was that Spectral Sprint technique?" "No idea. It happened so fast I couldn't see." "If I'm not mistaken, it's a technique that lets the user shorten the distance between steps and allows them to flicker within a specific range. Their movements are unpredictable and mysterious." The spectators buzzed with astonishment.

This tournament showcased exceptional talents and extraordinary techniques. The outcof each match remained uncertain until the very end.

"Where's my opponent? Cout and fight!" The man in the green robe stood at the center of the battle ring. His hair flowed despite the still air, and his robes fluttered, which gave him an imposing presence.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." A booming voice echoed.

Following that, a man in white, with an almost otherworldly beauty, leaped into the air. He crossed 300 feet in a few light steps and landed on the battle ring. It was Dalen Shade.

"I'm Dalen Shade, a disciple of the Shadow Citadel." With a folding fan in hand, he courteously saluted his opponent.

His refined demeanor and striking good looks elicited gasps of admiration from many female spectators. Although he might not have been the strongest contestant, his charm certainly made him stand out.

Even Alicia, who ranked among the top on the Beauty Ranking, couldn't help but be amazed. She had never seen a man with such breathtaking beauty. If he were a woman, she might have felt overshadowed.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

"Dalen Shade? I've never heard of you." The man in green gave Dalen a once- over with noticeable disdain. Though his looks were nothing to scoff at, he felt utterly overshadowed next to Dalen.

"May I know your name?" Dalen smiled.

"I'm unaffiliated with any guide. My nis Leigh. Jude Leigh," the man in green replied proudly.

"So, you're Jude Leigh, ranked tenth on the Legendary List. It's a pleasure to meet you." Dalen quickly realized his opponent's identity.

He remembered Jude had fought earlier but had finished the matem quickly without revealing his identity. Dalen thought he was probably trying to keep a low profile. "Is that really Jude Leigh? He's been keeping a low profile."

"Given the unclear situation before, it made sense for him to stay under the radar. Now that the top masters on the Legendary List have appeared, he has nothing to worry about." "I've heard he's an expert in the occult. His techniques are bizarre and endless. Even most grandmasters struggle against him." "If he's made it onto the Legendary List, there has to be something extraordinary about him. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do." Once the spectators learned Jude's identity, the murmurs grew louder.

Each master on the Legendary List had remarkable strength or unique skills, and Jude was no exception.

"Now that you know who I am, why hesitate? Just surrender to save us call.

both the hassle Jude said calmly. His tone wasn't overly arrogant, but it carried an undeniable authority. "I've cthis far. If I surrender now, I'll be a laughingstock." Dalen smiled. "I have to give it at least my best shot." "Do you seriously think you can defeat me?" Jude scoffed. "Clearly, you don't understand the significance of being on the Legendary List." To him, ordinary geniuses couldn't compare to those on the Legendary List. In his eyes, Dalen was just setting himself up for humiliation.

Chapter 2455

"The masters on the Legendary List are undoubtedly formidable. But it's not our style to give up without a fight at the Shadow Citadel. Given my responsibilities, I must take this chance. I hope you can understand, Jude." Dalen remained composed with a faint smile on his face.

"Since you're so full of yourself, bring it on. I'm eager to see what you've got." Jude stood with his hands clasped behind his back. His posture looked arrogant, almost as if he were taunting Dalen to attack.

He wouldn't be so dismissive if he were facing a strong opponent. But when it cto an unknown rookie, Jude didn't see any reason to be concerned since it would only cost him a little of his time.

"Please forgive me," Dalen said casually. He clasped his hands before lunging forward with a palm strike toward Jude.

Though the strike looked deceptively slow, it was actually astonishingly fast. The chill in the air arrived before his hand did.

As the palm wind swept by, the surface of the battle ring frosted over instantly. This was the Shadow Citadel's signature technique, the Glacial Strike.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

Rumor had it that this technique carried immense power and intense cold. Those struck by the palm wind risked becoming frozen and immobile or, in severe cases, losing their life on the spot.

Dalen used his signature move right from the start, which showed that he regarded Jude as a formidable opponent. He couldn't afford to hold back when facing a master from the Legendary List because a moment's hesitation could lead to his defeat.

The Glacial Strike rushed in with a gust of icy wind and slammed into Jude's chest. Instead of reacting with surprise, Dalen frowned and quickly shifted to a defensive stance.

In the next moment, the figure he had struck vanished. Dalen realized he hadn't hit Jude's real body but only an illusory image.

"You are too slow. You can't even touch me." A mocking voice taunted from behind him.

Dalen turned to see Jude standing 30 feet away with his hands behind his back and a scornful smile. Without a word, Dalen launched another attack with even greater speed and force. The momentum was crackling like a thunderclap.

"It's a futile effort." Jude scoffed and shook his head. To him, Dalen's persistence was nothing but foolishness. Dalen's second palm strike slammed into thin air. It created an explosive sound reverberating through the venue, highlighting the force behind his attack.

"Hey! Where are you hitting? I'm right here." Jude's taunting voice echoed from behind.

Dalen zeroed in on the sound without looking back and launched another palm strike. A white palm shadow shot forward that covered 30 feet, but Jude's figure blurred again as if he had never been there.

"You're too slow. With speed like that, you'll tire yourself out before you even touch a hair on my head," Jude continued to mock.

His figure flickered like a ghost as he darted back and forth across the battle ring. One moment, he was on the left, the next on the right, in front, and then behind. His movements were erratic and impossible to predict.

Surprisingly, Jude left no visible trace of movement. He was simply executing his Spectral Sprint. No matter how Dalen launched his attacks or chased him down, he couldn't even touch the hem of Jude's clothes. Jude was toying with him like a cat playing with a mouse.

"As expected of a master on the Legendary List, his Spectral Sprint Arts is simply amazing." "The difference in their strengths is staggering, and they're not even in the sleague. Even if Jude doesn't throw a single punch, his agility alone is enough to keep Dalen at bay." "It's humiliating to be played with like this. If it were me, I would have surrendered long ago to avoid this disgrace." As the spectators watched Dalen being led around like a dog, whispers erupted among them.

It was clear to everyone that Jude was toying with his opponent, and the match outcwas a foregone conclusion. Whenever Jude grew tired of the game, that would be when Dalen faced defeat.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

"Crystal, Mr. Shade seems to be in a tough spot. If it keeps going like this, he's bound to lose." Ruby frowned in concern.

Every palm strike from Dalen hit nothing but air and failed to hurt Jude. His efforts were utterly futile. "Though he is strong, he still falls short compared to the beasts on the Legendary List." Crystal shook her head. Those who made it into the top 16 were undoubtedly geniuses, but there had been a wide gap in skill even among them. The masters on the Legendary List were in a league of their own, while the rest were just there to fill the ranks.

"Hurry up! Faster.

"Why don't you hitonce? I'm starting to feel anxious for you.

"I just don't get it. With your weak skills, what gives you the nerve to challenge me? "Have you ever heard of a fool trying to take on something too big for him? How ridiculous! "Guess what? You're that fool right now." Jude dodged the attacks in the battle ring while mocking Dalen as if watching a clown perform.

Throughout the fight, Dalen said nothing but relentlessly launched one attack after another Each one wa faster and fiercer than the last, and he completely disregarded his own stamina. Jude continued to mock him, "I suggest you concede. If you keep this up, you'll exhaust yourself. You need to know your limits-"

Suddenly, a sharp gust of palm wind surged toward him, interrupting his mockery; Unfortunately, his body had only started to blur into form, and he couldn't blur out again. Dalen timed his strike perfectly.

There was a loud explosion. Jude couldn't dodge in tand tooklan heavy blow to the chest. The impact sent him flying through the air. RULE #1 choose married women They have reason to keep things secret, as do you.

AN UNDERSTATED DOMINANCE (DUSTIN RHYS)

Chapter 2456

Jude was struck senseless by Dalen's attack. He felt his life essence solidify within him, and his body stiffened. He was immobilized, and his internal energy couldn't flow properly.

The Shadow Citadel's ultimate technique, Glacial Strike, could instantly immobilize its target. Despite Jude's strength, he was still unable to escape its effects.

"What the hell! Jude actually got hit." "That has to be a fluke, right? After throwing wild punches for so long, it was bound to happen eventually." The spectators were taken aback as they watched Jude get sent flying by a single blow. To them, the outcof the match seemed clear-cut.

Jude had spent the entire ttoying with Dalen without launching an attack, so the hit should be a coincidence. At a glance, it seemed like Jude had carelessly thrown himself into Dalen's palm. But there was no denying that this strike changed the one-sided domination's outcome.

As Jude's body went limp, Dalen seized the moment to strike. He leaped into the air to catch up to the airborne Jude and slammed his palm from above.

"You-" Jude's eyes widened in surprise. But before he could say more, Dalen struck him hard in the chest.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

His body plummeted like a cannonball and smashed into the battle ring with a thunderous bang. The impact left a human-shaped crater in the ground, sending dust and debris flying into the air.

Jude coughed up blood. His hair was a tangled mess, his clothes were in tatters, and he looked utterly battered. He hadn't expected that a single misstep would give Dalen the chance to strike with such relentless force. Though he had mastered the Spectral Sprint technique, his physical resilience was lacking.

After being hit by the Glacial Strike, he becvulnerable when he couldn't channel his internal energy for protection. After enduring two palm strikes, he was already gravely injured, and his energy was in disarray. Before Jude could catch his breath, Dalen was enveloped in an icy aura and descended from above. He hurtled down with his palm thrust forward.

The sound echoed like thunder in Jude's ears. A ten-foot-long white palm shadow materialized out of nowhere and crashed down on him like a small mountain. The force of this strike was far more devastating than the previous two. It was fierce and unyielding.

"You're going too far!" Fury coursed through Jude as he faced an unavoidable attack.

He ignored the risk of damaging his circulatory pathways and forced his internal energy into a protective barrier. A loud crash echoed as the white palm shadow slammed the barrier and sent shockwaves through the air.

The barrier held for barely a second before shattering, but that brief moment was enough to save Jude's life. Just before the palm descended, he regained control of his body and executed the Spectral Sprint technique.

The white palm shadow slammed toward the crater and created a loud explosion that shook the battle ring. By then, he had teleported around 160 feet away.

As soon as he reappeared, Jude coughed up blood. The forced activation of his internal energy while his circulatory pathways were frozen had caused severe internal damage. It worsened his injuries and likely hindered his future cultivation.

But compared to taking that strike head -on, it was worth the cost since one direct hit might have left him disabled or worse.

"What a bummer." Dalen felt let down by the last attack that missed.

He had thought he found the perfect chance to end the match quickly. But he never expected Jude to be so decisive and willing to damage his own circulatory pathways to avoid the third strike.

After all, those who made it onto the Legendary List weren't just ordinary martial artists.

"Oh my gosh! Who would've thought Jude would get beaten up like this? Totally unexpected." "No kidding! A master from the Legendary List, getting pushed to this point by sunknown rookie is just embarrassing." "Honestly, if Jude hadn't underestimated his opponent, he probably would've ended this match ages ago. But instead, he tried to toy with him and nearly cost him everything." The spectators murmured as they watched Jude's disheveled state. To them, his injuries were the result of sheer arrogance.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

He had underestimated Dalen and didn't take him seriously. Instead of playing, it smart he had ended up ensnared in his own game. The predicament was entirely his fault.

"Fine. You've got skills." Jude took a deep breath and glared sharply at Dalen with intent to kill.

He continued, "Since I rose to prominence, no one has ever injuredlike this. You've successfully pissedoff and awakened the beast inside me." Dalen didn't reply. He just observed Jude's internal energy flow continuously.

"Now, I'll show you the consequences of angering me," Jude roared.

His body shook and split into three identical forms. With another shudder, they multiplied into nine.

Nine Judes charged in unison and lunged at Dalen from every direction.

Chapter 2457

"Die!" the nine Judes roared in unison as they attacked Dalen.

The clones flashed across the battle ring. They wove in and out, blurring the line between reality and illusion. It was impossible to tell which was the real one.

With his mastery of the Spectral Sprint technique, Jude was already hard to follow. And he becnearly impossible to track when he used the Spectral Clone technique.

Dalen quickly channeled his internal energy to form a white barrier around himself. Just as the shield materialized, a relentless storm of punches rained down from every direction. Each blow sent ripples through the barrier.

As the punches rained like a torrential downpour, Dalen's barrier shook like a boat caught in a fierce storm and threatened to break at any moment.

"Do you think you can stop me? I'll rip you to shreds." Jude vented his pent-up rage as he threw more punches. As a renowned master on the Legendary List, it was embarrassing to be injured by an unknown rookie. If he didn't reclaim his honor right then, how could he hope to establish himself in the martial world again? While Jude unleashed his relentless attacks, Dalen didn't rush to counter. Instead, he focused on channeling his internal energy to strengthen his protective barrier.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

Jude's countless clones were a major problem. They made it impossible for Dalen to identify the real one. Every ta clone or the real Jude threw a punch, they disappeared quickly, and Dalen had no chance to counterattack. At this rate, he wouldn't last long, no matter how strong he was.

"Oh my gosh! Who could possibly withstand this combination of Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint techniques?" "As expected of a master on the Legendary List, Jude is truly extraordinary. He can unleash such terrifying power even while injured. Amazing." "To be fair, that disciple from the Shadow Citadel fought valiantly. He was close to winning but ultimately fell just one move short." As the spectators observed Dalen taking hits in the center of the battle ring, their reactions varied.

Scheered for Jude because they were impressed by his strength and ferocity despite his injuries. Others felt sorry for Dalen, who nearly achieved an upset victory and could have becanother dark horse like Caleb.

But unlike Caleb, who defeated the ninth-ranked Sam through sheer skill, Dalen's earlier advantage seemed too opportunistic.

"What now? Mr. Shade's situation seems dire." Ruby watched the intense scene in the ring with growing anxiety. When Dalen had executed an impressive series of moves earlier, she thought he might win. But unexpectedly, Jude had caught on and launched a fierce counterattack.

"Jude is furious now. He is showing why he's ranked on the Legendary List with his strength. It'll be tough for Mr. Shade to turn this around." Crystal shook her head.

Even though Jude was wounded, his foundation remained solid. With the combination of Spectral Sprint and the Spectral Clone techniques, he was utterly unstoppable.

At the moment, Dalen was just passively defending. He couldn't turn the tide of the match unless he had shidden ace up his sleeve.

"Die! Just die!" Jude grew furious and aggressive with each strike. His internal energy surged as countless shadows and fists rained down on Dalen's protective barrier.

Cracks soon appeared on the white protective barrier, invigorating Jude. If he could shatter it, he could kill Dalen to vent the pent-up anger inside him.

But as the crisis deepened, Dalen surprised everyone by closing his eyes.

Jude's Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint techniques were nearly impossible to track by the naked eye. Dalen knew he could only rely on acute perception to track Jude's unpredictable movements. It was as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack.

But Dalen had no choice because Jude's relentless strikes intensified the cracks in the barrier, and it spread like a spider web.

"I'll gladly grant your wish since you want to die." Jude sneered. He channeled all his internal energy into another heavy punch against the barrier.

Follow on mediaurdu.blogspot.com

Finally, the barrier shattered with a loud bang. He seized the moment! and directed his clones and his real self to strike at Dalen's vital points. Then, Dalen finally opened his eyes. He didn't put up any defense or try to dodge. Instead, he turned and pointed sharply at the flashing figure.

This seemingly ordinary gesture concealed a powerful force of destruction, which caused the surrounding space to warp slightly.

Jude's fist struck Dalen hard, while Dalen's finger landed precisely on Jude's chest.

In the next second, Dalen was thrown back as if hit by a truck. He flew over 30 feet before landing and sliding ке several more feet before coming to a stop. Blood trickled from his mouth and nose, clearly a result of Jude's heavy punch. In contrast, Jude remained rooted after being struck by Dalen's finger. His face showed a mix of shock and disbelief.

All his clones vanished, and only his real body stood there in stunned disbelief. Despite using Spectram Glone and Spectral Sprint techniques, he couldn't understand how Dalen had pinpointed him so precisely. It was utterly unbelievable. "You... you..." Jude raised a finger to point at Dalen.

Before he could say anything more, he suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood. In the next moment, he collapsed and lay unconscious.

The venue fell into stunned silence as all eyes were drawn to the injured and unconscious Jude. Nobody had anticipated this outcome.

Just seconds ago, Jude had been dominating the match. He relentlessly attacked Dalen and was on the verge of shattering his barrier to secure victory. But suddenly, he collapsed to the ground.

The sequence of events unfolded so quickly that the spectators barely had tto process what had happened. "What just happened? Jude lost?" "That was odd! What the heck happened a moment ago?" "This match is full of surprises." After a brief moment of silence, the spectators erupted into an uproar.

Jude's defeat was utterly unexpected. At first, he toyed with Dalen and underestimated him. However, his overconfidence allowed Dalen to seize the opportunity and deliver powerful blows.

Furious, Jude unleashed a fierce assault that left Dalen struggling to defend himself. But against all odds, Jude lost, and Dalen emerged as the surprising victor.

The sequence had so many twists and turns that it bewildered everyone.

"Wait, Mr. Shade actually won?" After a brief moment of shock, Ruby laughed excitedly. "Crystal, did you see that? He won. This is amazing." "He actually pulled it off?" Crystal's eyes widened in disbelief at the outcome.

Although Jude had given Dalen a chance during the match, he ultimately shifted the momentum in his favor through his exceptional skill. His Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint techniques were powerful enough to secure victory.

Still, she couldn't understand how Dalen made such a comeback.

"Dr. Rhys, your friend is really impressive. I can't believe he actually beat Jude. That was totally unexpected." Alicia and the others exchanged looks of surprise.

In terms of strength, Jude was clearly superior. After all, reaching the Legendary List demonstrated his exceptional talent. His mastery of the Spectral Sprint and the Spectral Clone technique showcased his remarkable abilities.

In contrast, Dalen hadn't displayed any particularly overpowering techniques, which made his victory seem puzzling.

"Jude underestimated him and gave away too many chances." Fenley finally spoke up. "But to be fair, Dalen is no ordinary martial artist. He has a remarkable ability to seize opportunities, and even the smallest flaw can be exploited by his keen insight. That's a rare talent." While others might not have noticed, he had seen it clearly. Dalen won because he accurately identified Jude's true form among the eight clones at the critical moment. But that was only part of the reason.

He also had predicted where Jude's true form would land, and he had just a split second to attack. If he missed that moment, defeat would have been inevitable. But he seized that fleeting instant.

As Jude's true form attacked, Dalen chose to trade blows. He took a punch from Jude while unleashing his signature technique, Pyro Touch.

Jude was already injured, and with his lower physical resilience, the impact from Dalen's Pyro Touch knocked him out cold.

Ultimately, Jude's loss was justified because Dalen's victory was not merely due to luck but genuine strength. However, Dalen's power was not just a matter of cultivation level. His keen insight and perceptive abilities were something even Fenley envied.

Dalen sighed as he relaxed his tense muscles in the battle ring. After all, it was a close call.

He wouldn't have had a chance to counterattack if he hadn't sensed Jude's subtle flaw. Techniques like the Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint were challenging to counter, so he figured that luck played a significant role in his victory.

As expected, every master on the Legendary List was formidable. If Jude, ranked tenth, was this tough, Dalen couldn't imagine how powerful the top-ranked masters must be.

With his win over Jude, Dalen advanced to the top eight. He had achieved his main goal for this trip and upheld the reputation of the Shadow Citadel.

As for advancing to the finals, he had no intention of pushing his luck. He knew the opponents ahead were too strong, so he could only do his best and let fate take its course.

After the sixth match ended, the seventh round kicked off. This round featured two talented disciples from the major guilds.

On one side was Kieran Rowan, the principal disciple of the Echo Myst Clan, and on the other was Zane Soren, the senior disciple of the Embraco Order. 2 Both were renowned figures in the martial world. Though they hadn't secured spots on the Legendary List, their strengths were nearly on par.

As the match commenced, Kieran and Zane didn't hold back. They unleashed their full strength and fought with remarkable intensity.

With the honor of their guilds at stake, neither was willing to back back down. They showcased a variety of impressive techniques, which resulted in a brutal exchange that left them bloodied and scarred.

In the end, Zane managed to gain the upper hand and knocked Kieran out of the battle ring: However, Zane didn't escape unscathed. Though he won, it was a hard-fought victory. This match was the most closely contested and evenly-matched fight since the quarterfinals began. With the seventh match over, the eighth and final match of the day began.

"Now, let's welccontestants number eight and number nine to the ring." As the battle ring was cleared, Oron's voice echoed.

"Finally, it's my turn." Dustin stretched lazily, then walked straight to then battle ring. He didn't even bother to check the numbers to guess who would be his opponent. It was Jeremiah Price, the foreign contestant sent by the Hall of Gods to compete in the Combat Tournament.

Chapter 2459

"Dr. Rhys, good luck." As Dustin stepped into the battle ring, Alicia and Aurora cheered behind him. Their enthusiasm quickly drew more spectators to join in. Soon, the venue erupted in thunderous applause, with cheers echoing from every direction.

In his earlier match against Bill, Dustin demonstrated his immense strength and brought honor to his nation. After winning that match, his popularity had soared. But in this match, he was once again facing a foreign opponent.

Regardless of the spectators' personal opinions, they would back him unconditionally. When faced with an outsider, Dragon marsh's people often displayed remarkable unity. Even though internal conflicts were frequent, they united as one the moment an external threat appeared.

After Dustin entered the ring, Jeremiah, contestant number nine, stepped forward. In contrast to the deceased Bill and George, Jeremiah didn't act arrogantly. Aside from the the showcased his strength by defeating Truce, he had kept a low profile.

However, Dustin understood that this composed priest was only putting on an act. Among the three contestants sent by the Hall of Gods, Jeremiah was the strongest and more formidable than the other two combined.

"I can tell you're a dangerous opponent. I bet defeating you won't be easy today." Jeremiah's gaze fixed intently on Dustin. His expression was tense, yet he showed no signs of underestimating Dustin.

Though he couldn't fully gauge Dustin's strength, the threat he posed felt comparable to Fenley and the top- ranked experts on the Legendary List. Jeremiah sensed that Dustin might be even stronger. He was determined to give this fight everything he had.

"Defeat me?" Dustin replied with a faint smile. "If you manage to walk away alive, I'll count that as a win for you." He had no intention of showing mercy to the lackeys of the Hall of Gods, especially those who posed a serious threat. He would handle any opponent he could.

"Oh? You seem pretty confident," Jeremiah said, grinning. "Are you so sure you can defeat me?" "Let's find out," Dustin replied calmly.

"Fine! Lettest your limits." Jeremiah scoffed as his body began to transform. A dense layer of black scales quickly covered him like armor and protected his vulnerable parts.

His arms transformed into sharp, black blades that resembled the weapons used by George earlier. However, Jeremiah's genetic modifications were even more advanced, which made him significantly stronger.

He had absorbed the best traits from dozens of species, which enhanced his speed, strength, defense, reflexes, recovery, and senses. It wasn't an exaggeration to say he had no weaknesses because he was a nearly perfect killing machine.

"Showyour weapon." Jeremiah slowly spread his arms wide.

The sharp blades cut into the battle ring floor and left deep grooves as if slicing through butter. The ease with which they carved the surface showcased their deadly sharpness.

"You'll see it when you're dead." Dustin smiled.

Despite Jeremiah's cunning nature, he was still annoyed by Dustin's blatant disregard.

"The match... begins now!" Sensing the charged atmosphere, Oron quickly announced the start of the match and stepped out of the battle ring.

"Let's see what you've got!" Jeremiah shot forward like an arrow and launched his attack.

He was in peak physical condition, and his senses were razor-sharp. He could detect and exploit any flaw in Dustin's stance with deadly precision.

As Jeremiah closed in, Dustin flicked his wrist and sent three silver needles flying from his sleeve. Two darted toward Jeremiah's eyes, while the third targeted his heart.

Jeremiah grunted but didn't flinch. He charged ahead and swung his blades to deflect the two needles aimed at his eyes with a sharp clang. He ignored the third needle and let it pierce the scales on his chest. The needle collided with the scales and sent sparks flying. Unfazed, he continued his charge while the needle twisted and fell to the ground without causing him any injury.

"Interesting." Dustin smirked.

His silver needles weren't deadly weapons but were typically more m than enough to take down any е. grandmaster martial artist. Their ineffectiveness against Jeremiah revealed just how formidable his defenses were. "Die!" In an instant, Jeremiah closed the gap, and his blades swung toward Dustin's neck with devastating force.

Chapter 2460

Faced with the black blade slicing toward him, Dustin stood firm. He didn't flinch or evade. Instead, he simply extended two fingers and clamped down on it.

As soon as the blade met his fingers, it stopped and emitted a faint hum as it glimmered ominously in the light. "Huh?" Jeremiah's eyes widened as he watched Dustin catch the blade between his fingers.

With that strike, he had unleashed at least 80% of his strength, and the modified blade was sharp enough to cut through steel effortlessly. It was a force capable of slicing through anything- even a tank.

But Dustin had stopped the attack, and he had done so with just two fingers. Was he also skind of genetically enhanced beast? Jeremiah's shock quickly turned to resolve as he tried to withdraw his blade. But before he could muster the strength, Dustin's fingers twisted slightly, and with a sharp crack, the blade shattered.

Jeremiah frowned. Though he was surprised, he didn't hesitate as he swung another blade toward Dustin's head. "Again?" Dustin repeated the move and extended his fingers to catch the descending blade. With a sharp twist, he snapped it in half.

Jeremiah staggered back a few steps from the force. He glanced down and saw both blades on his arms shattered. The weapons that could slice through steel now felt like paper in front of Dustin. It was a harsh blow to his confidence.

"Do you have any other tricks?” Dustin asked coolly.

"Things are just heating up!" Jeremiah spread his arms wide and brought them down with force.

In an instant, the shattered blade in his arms began to regenerate and restore itself in the blink of an eye. The blade was an extension of him, and his body was infused with the genes of countless powerful creatures.

Among those abilities was the enhanced regeneration typical of vampires. Not only could he regrow a severed arm, but if his head were completely severed, he could quickly heal as long as it was reattached.

As one of the most formidable and successful genetically enhanced soldiers, this was merely one of Jeremiah's many capabilities.

"Impressive." Dustin narrowed his eyes and was surprised by how quickly Jeremiah regenerated the broken blades on his arms. It was faster than George's.

"Bring it on!" Jeremiah charged forward fearlessly.

He raised his blades again, and his arms swung forward in unison. The sharp blades descended toward Dustin's neck from either side like the jaws of a massive pair of scissors.

Dustin scoffed upon seeing that and charged ahead. Just before the blades could strike, he drove his fist into Jeremiah's chest.

The impact shattered Jeremiah's scales and created a bloodied, gaping wound the size of a fist. His body flew back over ten yards as if struck by a truck.

But before he could crash to the ground, he flipped midair. He landed firmly on his feet, and it left two deep impressions on the ring.

Jeremiah glanced down at his chest and frowned. His scales could withstand divine weapons and were impervious to ordinary attacks.

Yet, Dustin's punch had broken through those defenses, creating a deep wound that exposed bone. His sheer power had far surpassed Jeremiah's expectations.

He had believed Dustin's strength would be on par with Fenley. While Dustin was a challenge, he hadn't considered him a serious threat. But now, he realized Dustin was far more dangerous than Fenley, who was ranked fifth on the Legendary List.

Jeremiah couldn't afford to hold back any longer. Though prolonged battles were his specialty, revealing more of his abilities would make the later rounds even more challenging. So, he needed to finish this match quickly.

With that thought in mind, he took a deep breath and activated his third form.

His body swelled, muscles and bones expanding as his black scales gradually turned red. His once-human face twisted into something beastly with a mouth full of sharp fangs that added to his menacing appearance.

The most unsettling aspect was the two red horns sprouting from his head and the lizard-like tail extending from his lower back. With horns on his head, a tail on his back, and a monstrous visage, he resembled a creature straight out of the Streuqua myths. "Holy crap! What the hell is that? It's terrifying!" "A demon! That's a damn demon!" "This is bad. He looks incredibly strong. Is Dustin going to be okay?" "Damn it! With a transformation like that, how's anyone supposed to fight him?" The sudden change sent a shiver down everyone's spine.

Before, Jeremiah had appeared strange with his scaly skin and m bladed arms, but he still resembled a man. Now, he was no longer human but a full-fledged beast.

Standing nearly ten feet tall, with red armor-like scales, razor-sharp claws, and menacing fangs, he had NO trane into a demon. Just one look made people's skin crawl and filled them with dread. Faced with such a creature, they couldn't help but wonder if Dustin could defeat Jeremiah.
